Ronald McDonald House For Children is a life line close to the MCT board’s heart. On Friday 23rd of December 2016 just before Christmas Eve, Maria Magnus and Victoria Magnus went into the Ronald McDonald Children’s home to provide some much needed Christmas cheer.
The home is East Grand Avenue in Chicago City, and is the Ronald McDonald House that serves families of patients in the Lurie Children’s Hospital. This Ronald McDonald home has 15 floors offering 66 guest suites, a healing roof garden along with a host of additional amazing facilities.
The MCT board members worked in partnership with Chase Bank Chicago to purchase, deliver and distribute a huge set of children’s toys, books, general gifts and of course some much appreciated festivities, fun and hugs to the children. The MCT ladies also spent essential learning time with the children teaching them craft activities for that evening. This is a gift that MCT will again be delivering in December 2017.
