ILLINOIS SENATE RECOGNIZES HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS
November 2002
Mr. Alexander B. Magnus, Jr. was an extraordinary man, never seeking any recognition for his generosity to humanity. On August 21, 2002 he lost his battle with cancer and although he is no longer here with us, his spirit lives on in the work carried on through Magnus Charitable Trust.
On November 21, 2002 a Senate Resolution was passed by the Illinois 92nd General Assembly honoring Mr. Alexander B. Magnus, Jr. and his charitable work.
